Epic Powder Day!

We finally got some powdery white stuff and once the sun came out the puppies went to play. Running and rolling all around.

They loved it! Wore it! Ate it!

The First Supper

Sierra's puppies had their first meal of puppy mush today. As always it's an entertaining messy event.

The smallest puppy, Wynter, was the most enthusisatic and dove right in. Followed by Schnapps who laid right in. Snowflake awakened for a nibble. Then they all ate it off each other.

But you'll see plenty remained on their feet and mouths. Mama then came in and cleaned them up.

The Puppysitter

Big sister Molly puppysits the puppies which gives big Mama a break. She's such a wonderful girl. Zuzu reminds me of Molly!

Sometimes they come to the gate and just want out. Typical.

They're done when the puppies collapse into naptime.

The Wintersköl Litter is 3 weeks old!

Here they are at 3 weeks! They're getting so big.

Schnapps and Wynter opened their eyes first with the big boy, Snowflake, opening them a day later.

You may not see it now, but in a couple of weeks you'll see just how stunning Snowflake will become. He has a perfect shape head, his coat is the best of all the litters and he has a good shape.

Schnapps will forever be cute. He is so sweet.

And look out for Miss Wynter too. She's showing signs of greatness. Her undercoat is lighter than the rest. Along with that and her unique markings, she could be a real queen.

Sierra's Puppies New House

I moved Sierra's litter into a crate with their own pen. They can now roam around, play with their toys and bite each other's ears and noses.

They seem to love it!

This next week they will walk better and really begin to look like fun loving puppies.

Play Huts

I have to come up with creative ideas to entertain these puppies since they can't go outside much to play.

I bought some play huts which they love. They chase each other down the tunnels and tents run outside to the other side and do it all over again. The circle of fun goes on and on until they poop out.

Sister Molly also participates by chasing all 4 puppies, it's so darn cute.

Sierra's Schnapps

Schnapps is a sweet boy. He loves to cuddle and explore his box now that he can see it.

He and Snowflake seem to have a bond, and he follows Snow around.

I think they're all ready to walk and begin to play with more gusto.

Sierra's Snowflake

Snowflake is the one and only non-mink colored puppy in our winter litters. Maybe that's why I'm so smitten with him.

He's the largest in the litter and was last to open his eyes.

He doesn't have much color and it looks like he will have a really nice coat. Will he be show quality?

Sierra's Wynter

Wynter is Sierra's only girl and she's a doll!

She got out of the box the other day and curled up on some laundry.

She is so cute!

Sierra's litter is 2 weeks old

Sierra's beautiful litter is 17 days old now. They opened their eyes this past weekend.

I gave their eyes a few days to adjust to light and took their pictures today.

They are all really gorgeous! I'm very smitten with Snowflake, he's taking after his grandfather Rocky's side of the family.

Schnapps and Wynter look so much alike although their coloring is a little different.

Busy Mary

Mary is the pack leader probaby because she's the largest and has her mother's personality. She is curious about everything, checking out every item and place she can get to.

She's hysterical because she'll do somersaults, fall off her bed and comes back for more. Nothing deters or distracts her. She will not be denied! She loves her food.

She and George come right up to me for hugs and kisses then go on their merry way. When she's tired she loves to cuddle and be held. So sweet!

The Princess Zuzu

Zuzu has the cutest face ever. She is a girly girl who is just so sweet.

She is a small girl who will probably be around 9 lbs as an adult. She is so funny because she will hang back checking out the situation. When she sees George and Mary having fun she joins right in and it's a delight to watch her have fun.

She loves to kiss and cuddle. She likes having her face petted.

She adores attention!

George at 5 weeks old!

George is quite the character! He's one of the first to come up to me, wants to be held then wants to get down. He's very curious and active.

You can see his personality shine through in his photos. Some puppies are more photogenic than others, and George is a ham for the camera.

If he's a tired or hungry, he'll let you know.

He has a great coat with white coming in strong on his belly, chest and feet.

Sweet Clarence

Clarence is a sweet boy who loves to play with everyone and can also entertain himself.

He's a love who does like to cuddle. He's a sensitive boy who will be a Mama's boy.

He likes to sleep underneath blankets and toys.

Puppies are 5 weeks old!

The puppies are so much fun at 5 weeks. They're playing all the time when they're not sleeping.

They're eating 3 meals a day and Mom is weaning them.

Since the weather is still nice, they have been getting outside to breathe some clean winter air.

They are all just a delight!
