Here is 1 year old Cheyenne and her grandfather Rocky Mountain High.
Cheyenne wanted nothing to do with me her first few months, but now is a true Mama's girl.
Rocky Mountain High is my foundation stud and still has the best coat of everyone. He is the grand Papa but some of his children do not recognize or respect his status.
Both are true delights and enjoy the mountain life.
The puppies are able to be outside in the afternoons, eating puppy food 2-3 times a day and learning where to pee. They're having a great time but still sleeping a lot of the time
I keep singing "Jimmy oh Jimmy, silly boy, gee what a real swell guy". (From Thoroughly Modern Millie, moons ago). He's a real Mama's boy and it might be hard to wean that child.
Carmela is so sweet and adorable. She's not the photogenic ham of her sister Lindsey so her lovely face doesn't always shine in photos. She thought being outside was pretty fun until she got too hot. Their temperature regulation isn't quite 100%. Such a silly girl.
Jimmy has begun hearing and howling. It's quite something to hear this guy lift his head and start to howl. His Mama isn't quite sure what to think of it. It's amazing what a different world it is now that they can hear.
Lindsey is having a blast checking out the world and she lets you know what she thinks. Typical for the largest puppy, she's good at getting what she wants.
I've waiting to use the "baby play place" since I bought it last fall, what a good investment. It's the perfect little place for the puppies when they first come out of their nursery. It's large enough for Mama, the side can be up or down and they have the toys hanging so they can play and chew.
